One Week On: Finding Hope After the Fire

Just one week ago, on the 24th of April, a devastating fire swept through our roastery, destroying everything—our equipment, stock, records, and the space we poured our hearts into.

The days since have been an emotional whirlwind—grief, disbelief, frustration, but also immense gratitude and hope. The outpouring of support we’ve received has truly kept us going, and we want to take a moment to thank the incredible people and organisations who have lifted us during this incredibly difficult time.

First, a heartfelt thank-you to Mid Kent Mezzanines. You’ve been more than neighbours—you’ve become part of our family. Your support, despite facing your own damages, has been nothing short of extraordinary.

To Prowired, your immediate help and morale-boosting presence gave us strength when we had none left. Thank you for being there.

We also want to thank ENN Recycling, who helped us secure new premises at short notice. Because of you, we were able to take a vital first step forward—we picked up the keys to our temporary roastery this week!

A special shoutout to Herbert & Ward, who stepped in immediately to help bridge the coffee supply gap, ensuring that some of our customers most in need of beans didn’t go without. That gesture means more than we can say.
