n 2009, the women of the Café Femenino Bolivia Program embarked on a transformative journey. Overcoming geographical challenges, rugged terrain, and societal norms, they carved a path toward better livelihoods, brighter futures, and improved community health.

Their journey began by separating coffee production from men’s work, forming a women’s association, and launching their own Café Femenino Program in Bolivia. A seemingly small but significant achievement was having their names included on land titles. This ensured that even if a woman faced abandonment or widowhood, the land would remain hers, shielding her and her children from further poverty.

Beyond legal rights, this shift instilled a sense of value and ownership in each woman. No longer mere servants to their husbands, they became businesswomen with agency over their livelihoods. Psychologically, this empowerment boosted their self-esteem.

Since joining Café Femenino, these women have witnessed positive changes in their lives and communities. Most notably, they’ve created a cooperative space where education thrives, and their voices are heard at the highest levels of leadership.

From a starting point of low self-worth, they’ve transcended positions of inferiority. Now, as masters of their own destinies, they channel resources toward their children and community, fueled by the control they have over their own finances.

What do you charge for delivery? All orders come with free shipping via Royal Mail 2nd class. Any orders above 2kg will be automatically upgraded to next day delivery.
How long is coffee sitting on the shelf before it is delivered to me? All our coffee is freshly roasted to order, it literally cannot get any fresher!
Who are you guys? Do you have a physical store? We are family run business who sell retail coffee beans online but also supply wholesale both online and locally.
Are you doing your part to save the planet? Our roastery is solar powered and we try to use reyclable / eco-friendly packaging wherever possible.
Is it OK to buy ground coffee? Though we recommend always buying as whole beans and grinding as you need it, we can understand that not everyone has a grinder at home! Just store the coffee well and drink it quickly!
