Description
Hormozi Coffee UK is proud to present our Oolong Tea — a truly exceptional loose leaf tea with origins stretching back to the Tang Dynasty of ancient China. Legend has it that a neglected tea plantation, bathed each morning in mist, produced leaves of an incomparably sweet and creamy character — and the Oolong has been treasured as a rare Chinese delicacy ever since. With its mild, floral taste and gently calming effect on the body and mind, this is a tea for those who appreciate something quietly extraordinary in every cup.
Sourced from the finest tea-growing regions of China and packaged at the Gräfenhof tea factory in northern Germany, each batch is made exclusively from hand-picked leaves grown under optimal climatic conditions. The leaves are gently processed and carefully rolled after harvesting to lock in their signature delicate aroma — a process that sets Milky Oolong apart from any other tea in the world.
The Ingredients
Oolong Tea Leaves — The singular star of this blend, Oolong tea leaves sit beautifully between green and black tea in oxidation — delivering a smooth, floral complexity alongside antioxidants that support metabolism, heart health, and a calm, focused state of mind.
How to Brew the Perfect Cup
- Heat Your Water — Bring water to 80–90°C (176–194°F). Oolong is delicate — water that’s too hot can overwhelm its subtle floral notes. Boil and rest for 1–2 minutes if needed.
- Measure Your Tea — Use one heaped teaspoon (approximately 2.5g) per 200ml of water. Oolong rewards a slightly generous measure.
- Add to Your Infuser — Place the rolled leaves into a loose leaf infuser or strainer, ensuring they have room to unfurl and fully release their aroma.
- Steep — Pour hot water over the leaves and steep for 3–4 minutes. For a lighter, more floral cup, pull at 3 minutes; for a fuller, creamier character, go closer to 4.
- Remove and Enjoy — Remove the infuser and savour the tea as is — no milk or sugar needed. Let the natural sweetness and floral depth speak for itself.
Pro Tip: Oolong leaves are wonderfully suited to multiple steepings — each infusion reveals a slightly different character. Try a second and even third steep for a subtler, more nuanced cup.
