The Ingredients
Green Tea — The bold, full-bodied base of this blend, Gunpowder green tea is rich in antioxidants and catechins that support metabolism, immune health, and sustained natural energy.
Peppermint — Cooling and intensely aromatic, peppermint is widely known for relieving digestive discomfort, easing bloating, and delivering that signature sharp, refreshing menthol freshness.
Curly Mint — Milder and slightly sweeter than peppermint, spearmint complements the blend with a softer minty character while also supporting digestion and providing anti-inflammatory benefits.
Cornflower Bloom — Delicate and beautiful, cornflower petals bring subtle anti-inflammatory properties and a gentle floral note that rounds off the blend with elegance.
How to Brew the Perfect Cup
- Heat Your Water — Bring water to 70–80°C (158–176°F). Avoid boiling — it can scorch the leaves and introduce bitterness. No thermometer? Boil and let it rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Measure Your Tea — Use 2.5g (roughly one heaped teaspoon) per 200ml of water. Adjust to taste.
- Add to Your Infuser — Place the leaves into a loose leaf infuser or strainer, giving them enough room to expand fully.
- Steep — Pour hot water over the leaves and steep for 2–3 minutes. For a lighter cup, pull at 2 minutes; for a bolder, spicier brew, go to 3.
- Remove and Enjoy — Remove the infuser promptly and sip as is, or add a slice of fresh lemon or a drizzle of honey to enhance the natural flavours.
Pro Tip: The leaves can be steeped a second time for a lighter but equally enjoyable second cup.
