The Ingredients
Sencha Green Tea — The antioxidant-rich base of this blend, Sencha green tea is celebrated for supporting heart health, boosting metabolism, and delivering smooth, natural energy without the crash.
Ginger — A warming, spicy powerhouse known for its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger supports healthy digestion, eases nausea, and adds a bold, invigorating kick to every cup.
Lemongrass — Fresh and citrusy, lemongrass supports digestion, reduces bloating, and carries mild antimicrobial properties that make it a natural wellness staple.
Lemon Peel — Packed with vitamin C and flavonoids, lemon peel supports immune health, aids digestion, and delivers a clean, zesty finish to the blend.
Marigold Blossoms — Rich in antioxidants and known for their anti-inflammatory benefits, marigold blossoms soothe the digestive system and add a gentle floral softness to the brew.
How to Brew the Perfect Cup
- Heat Your Water — Bring water to 70–80°C (158–176°F). Avoid boiling — it can scorch the leaves and introduce bitterness. No thermometer? Boil and let it rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Measure Your Tea — Use 2.5g (roughly one heaped teaspoon) per 200ml of water. Adjust to taste.
- Add to Your Infuser — Place the leaves into a loose leaf infuser or strainer, giving them enough room to expand fully.
- Steep — Pour hot water over the leaves and steep for 2–3 minutes. For a lighter cup, pull at 2 minutes; for a bolder, spicier brew, go to 3.
- Remove and Enjoy — Remove the infuser promptly and sip as is, or add a slice of fresh lemon or a drizzle of honey to enhance the natural flavours.
Pro Tip: The leaves can be steeped a second time for a lighter but equally enjoyable second cup.
