Description
Hormozi Coffee UK is proud to present our Japanese Sencha Tea — a premium, organically grown loose leaf green tea from one of the most celebrated tea regions in the world. Grown and harvested in the Shizuoka region at the foot of the iconic Mount Fuji, this Sencha carries the character of its extraordinary surroundings in every leaf. Steamed and carefully dried to preserve its vibrant, grassy-sweet flavour, it delivers a taste that is clean, gently tart, and rounded off by a subtle, pleasing bitterness that green tea lovers will instantly appreciate.
Sourced exclusively from organically controlled farms and packaged at the tea factory in northern Germany, each batch is handled with the care and precision this exceptional tea deserves. Rich in antioxidants and naturally energising, our Japan Sencha Fuji is as health-promoting as it is deeply satisfying — a tea that sharpens the mind while soothing the soul.
The Ingredients
Japanese Sencha Green Tea Hand-picked from the slopes of Mount Fuji’s Shizuoka region, this Sencha is rich in antioxidants, catechins, and the unique amino acid L-theanine — supporting alertness, calm focus, immune health, and protection against oxidative stress, all in a single, beautifully balanced cup.
How to Brew the Perfect Cup
- Heat Your Water — Bring water to 70–80°C (158–176°F). Avoid boiling — it can scorch the leaves and introduce bitterness. No thermometer? Boil and let it rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Measure Your Tea — Use one heaped teaspoon (approximately 2.5g) per 200ml of water. Sencha is expressive — start here and adjust to taste.
- Add to Your Infuser — Place the leaves into a loose leaf infuser or strainer, giving them enough room to expand fully.
- Steep — Pour hot water over the leaves and steep for 1–2 minutes. Sencha is more sensitive than most — a shorter steep preserves its bright, clean character. Extend slightly for more depth, but watch carefully.
- Remove and Enjoy — Remove the infuser promptly and enjoy as is. The natural sweetness and freshness of a quality Sencha needs nothing added
Pro Tip: Sencha leaves can be steeped two to three times, with each infusion offering a progressively lighter, more delicate flavour — a beautiful quality of premium Japanese green tea.
