What do you charge for delivery? All orders come with free shipping via Royal Mail 2nd class. Any orders above 2kg will be automatically upgraded to next day delivery.
How long is coffee sitting on the shelf before it is delivered to me? All our coffee is freshly roasted to order, it literally cannot get any fresher!
Who are you guys? Do you have a physical store? We are family run business who sell retail coffee beans online but also supply wholesale both online and locally.
Are you doing your part to save the planet? Our roastery is solar powered and we try to use reyclable / eco-friendly packaging wherever possible.
Is it OK to buy ground coffee? Though we recommend always buying as whole beans and grinding as you need it, we can understand that not everyone has a grinder at home! Just store the coffee well and drink it quickly!

I normally buy a 5kg case of Douwe Egberts Dark Continental Espresso Beans every 3 months, but last time they were temporarily out of stock so I did a bit of surfing and found Hormozi. I took a risk and ordered a 5kg box and boy oh boy, was I glad that I did. They were delivered the day after roasting and just the smell was wonderful. This will be a review in two parts. Also, I am by no means a coffee expert. I just know what I like and dislike.
Part one. I have over the years purchased many coffee’s trying to find one I really liked. Found this site and ordered a 10x25g gift pack to try out. First hurdle occurs. Due to a glitch in the computer matrix this was not sent. Email to company (Nina) prompt action ensued, problem found, problem solved. I cannot fault this company (Nina) for company Service. Very Happy.
Part two. Was out of beans, so took the bull by the horns and ordered 1kg Italian Blend. Couldn’t be any worse than some I’ve tried. I need not have worried. The gift pack and kilo bag of Italian were roasted 30 Nov, I received all 2 Dec. So far I have just tried the Italian blend. This is a great coffee bean, definitely the best I have purchased. I love it. I hand grind to preserve the best of the bean. Will definitely start a monthly purchase. I would recommend this to anyone, to at least try.

So I bought the Italian already ground and used it in a cafetiere. I don’t know whether the grind was too course or the coffee wasn’t very strong, but it wasn’t as strong as I expected. I’ve been adding extra spoonfuls, but it still isn’t very strong. Now, do I regrind it to be finer, with the risk of getting sludge in the bottom, or is there a stronger coffee in the Hormozi range? Help!
