Description
Hormozi Coffee UK is proud to present our Chai Classic Tea — an aromatic, organically crafted loose leaf blend inspired by the ancient Indian tradition of Masala teas, where exotic spices and herbs are brought together to create something truly extraordinary. With a rich medley of cinnamon, ginger, star anise, cardamom, clove, and pepper, this is a tea that wraps around you like a warm blanket on a cold winter evening — yet is equally enjoyable poured cold over ice on a summer afternoon. Chai simply means tea, and in cultures across India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, it has been a cherished daily ritual for centuries.
Blended and packed at our tea manufacturing facility in northern Germany, each batch is crafted with care using only natural, organic ingredients to deliver an unforgettable taste experience. Completely caffeine-free, our Chai Classic is a soothing companion at any hour of the day — warming the body, calming the mind, and awakening the senses with every sip.
The Ingredients
Cinnamon — Warming and deeply aromatic, cinnamon is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to support healthy blood sugar levels, adding a rich, sweet spice to the blend.
Ginger — Warming and invigorating, ginger brings its signature spicy kick while supporting healthy digestion, reducing inflammation, and adding natural heat to the blend.
Apple — Naturally sweet and smooth, apple pieces soften the spice blend and add a gentle, mellow fruitiness that balances the bolder ingredients.
Star Anise — Deeply aromatic and slightly sweet, star anise contributes a distinctive liquorice warmth while supporting digestive health and adding exotic depth to the cup.
Cardamom — A cornerstone of Indian spice culture, cardamom delivers a sweet, floral warmth with natural antioxidant properties and a reputation for freshening breath and aiding digestion.
Clove — Intensely aromatic and warming, cloves are rich in antioxidants and known for their antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, adding a powerful, spiced backbone to the blend.
Black Pepper — Sharp and earthy, black pepper enhances the absorption of other beneficial compounds in the blend while adding a subtle heat that rounds off the spice profile.
Pink Peppercorn — Milder and slightly fruity compared to black pepper, pink peppercorn adds a delicate heat and visual beauty, contributing antioxidants and a refined spiced finish.
How to Brew the Perfect Cup
- Heat Your Water — Bring water to 70–80°C (158–176°F). Avoid boiling — it can scorch the leaves and introduce bitterness. No thermometer? Boil and let it rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Measure Your Tea — Use 2.5g (roughly one heaped teaspoon) per 200ml of water. Adjust to taste.
- Add to Your Infuser — Place the leaves into a loose leaf infuser or strainer, giving them enough room to expand fully.
- Steep — Pour hot water over the leaves and steep for 2–3 minutes. For a lighter cup, pull at 2 minutes; for a bolder, spicier brew, go to 3.
- Remove and Enjoy — Remove the infuser promptly and sip as is, or add a slice of fresh lemon or a drizzle of honey to enhance the natural flavours.
Pro Tip: The leaves can be steeped a second time for a lighter but equally enjoyable second cup.
